Step into a world of adventure and purpose as a volunteer in breathtaking Nepal, based on my own unforgettable experience!
From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by the warmth and hospitality of Kamal and his family, where humour and respect go hand in hand. I stayed with them in a homestay, and every meal was a celebration of flavour, especially the delicious dhal bat, which I still miss to this day.

As a volunteer, I had the chance to teach English to kids at the local primary school. Their happiness and eagerness to learn were contagious, and I felt honoured to be part of their educational journey. Games and group activities were new for them, but they embraced it all with so much enthusiasm.

A real highlight was our Women’s Empowerment project, which kicked off with a big celebration on International Women’s Day. More than 200 vibrant, colourful women came together to talk, eat and sing. We taught English lessons, discussed empowerment and supported the women in working towards economic independence. It was incredibly inspiring to see them join forces and set up their own projects like sewing workshops and cooking classes to strengthen their community.

As a volunteer, I lived in harmony with nature and the local community, surrounded by the peace and spirituality of Buddhism and Hinduism. Every day I was greeted by the majestic Himalayas and the sounds of the birds.

The project really needs continuity, and I truly hope that will happen. Volunteering in Nepal is an unforgettable adventure, and it also gives you the chance to experience the beauty of the country — from the picturesque villages to the historic cities of Bhaktapur and Kathmandu.
Become a volunteer today and let your heart be captured by the magic of Nepal, just like mine was 🇳🇵
